Privacy policy
One More Comma asks you to enter your balances, accounts, and plans. This page explains, in plain language, what we keep, where it lives, who can see it, and how to get it back or have it deleted.
What we store
- Your sign-in identity. Your name and the email address, phone number, or Google account you sign in with. Google's Firebase Authentication handles sign-in, so we never see or store a password.
- The financial data you enter. Accounts, loans, balance entries, contributions, planned expenses and purchases, and plan settings such as your birth date and retirement age.
- A daily count of AI assistant requests, used to enforce the daily limit.
- Technical logs. Google Cloud records requests to the app (IP address, browser, pages and API calls) and errors, and keeps them for a limited time.
We never ask for bank logins and never connect to your bank. Everything in the app is something you typed in.
Where it's stored
Your data is stored on Google Cloud, which runs the app. Google encrypts the disks it's stored on, but One More Comma doesn't add its own encryption, so the operator can technically read it (and does so only as described below).
Your browser also keeps some data on your device: your sign-in session, the email address you asked for a sign-in link with, a balance entry you started but haven't saved, the current AI assistant chat (until you start a new one or close the tab), and display preferences such as whether the side menu is collapsed.
Who can see it
- You. Your financial data is visible only to your account when you're signed in.
- Our service providers, only to run the app: Google (Firebase Authentication, Google Cloud hosting, Google Analytics to count page visits, and Google Fonts), the jsDelivr network, which delivers the chart code, and, if you use the AI assistant, Anthropic. Fonts and chart code are downloaded from those services, so they see your IP address and browser, but none of your financial data.
- The operator of One More Comma, only when needed to keep the service running, fix a problem you report, or act on a request from you.
The AI assistant
The assistant is optional. When you ask it something, the conversation and your financial data are sent to Anthropic, whose Claude models write the reply. Names are replaced by aliases (like "Checking Account 1"), and notes and your birth date are left out. Anthropic processes them to answer you and doesn't use them to train its models. We don't save your conversations on our servers.
No selling, no sharing
We never sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone beyond the providers above, unless the law requires it.
Export or delete your data
You can edit or delete any account, entry, or plan in the app at any time. To get a copy of all your data, or to delete your account and everything in it, email onemorecomma@gmail.com from the address you sign in with (or tell us your sign-in phone number). We'll do it within 30 days.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Questions? Email onemorecomma@gmail.com. See also our terms of use.
